Same day request - Need a 2 hour advance notice and subject to a $10.00 additional charge.

Cancellations - 0-23 hours notice including holidays is non-refundable.

                 2 days prior to service:  50% credit for future service, and 50% refund.

                           3 days or more:  100% refund except for holidays

Holidays - are time and half- except Christmas Eve, and Christmas, those are double time.  All others are time and half.... New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Easter, July 4th, Thanksgiving day and the Friday after.

Holiday cancellations, if cancelled 3 days or less prior to service, are not refundable.  If cancellations are 4 - 13 days prior to service there will be a 50% refund given.  This is due to Louisville House and Pet Sitters holding your spot and then you cancelling it, which may have caused us to turn others away if our schedule was booked during the holiday time requested.  If there is at least a 14 day cancellation period we will refund 100%.

Reservations - must be made by telephone 502-759-4412. Please book sittings as far ahead as possible to ensure that your home and pets will be taken care of, especially for holidays.  We always set up a consultation before any sittings happen, this is done to allow us to meet and for us to meet your animals, go over any of your questions and concerns,etc.  This initial consultation is at no charge to you.  Half of the total sitting fee is due at consultation.  However, you may pay in full if you wish.

Pets - need to be up-to-date on all vaccines and proof to be shown at initial consultation. Louisville House and Pet Sitters will not provide service for aggresive animals, or those with a history of such.  We are glad to care for young animals, as well as disabled and older pets needing that extra care they deserve.

Back up sitter - will be provided in the event your originally assigned Sitter is ill or has an injury. It is our duty to ensure your pets and home are not left unattended.

Before you leave - please leave a working set of keys at the time of contract signing or garage code, etc. Please leave a note for your pet sitter with specific instructions for the visit. This is asked to be done, only because things could have changed slightly from the time of our original consultation. Please advise us if there is an alarm on the home and the code. We will need an up-to-date emergency contact in case we are unable to get into your home or should we have any questions. Please leave medications, treats, food, cat litter, etc., where they are easily found.

NOTE: Please leave gratuities in home and pet sitter's name when you pay by check or cash.
